Rodney Malone, Owner & CEO
Rodney Malone is the Owner and CEO of Golden Heart Senior Care. This line of work comes naturally to Rodney. Rodney was raised by his grandmother who had 10 children of her own that she raised in a three bedroom house. All of her children were older than Rodney. When she elected to adopt and raise Rodney, she was approaching her senior years and Rodney’s love and appreciation for her is what started him on a path to caring for seniors.
Rodney is a widower to his wife of 30 years. Together, they have raised three children. Christopher who is a Principal in the Vail School District in Tucson along with his wife a teacher and their two toddlers. A middle son Maximillian whom is very productive in the music industry and who volunteered at Courtney’s Place for the physically and mentally challenged. And an adopted daughter Emilie who is a student at NAU who is studying Psychology.
Rodney’s leadership skills involve coaching various youth team sports and golf. He is a founding Board Member of K2 Adventures Foundation raising money for handicapped families. He is an active member at the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce. Rodney successfully owned, operated and sold a cleaning franchise in Ohio employing over 96 employees. He became the larges in the Ohio Tri-State Area. He successfully owned, operated and sold a construction cleaning business employing over 115 cleaners. Rodney has now committed his remaining working years to being Of Service and helping seniors. According to Rodney, this is the most rewarding work he has ever done and he plans to help as many seniors as will have him.
Angela Kruse, Office Manager
Angela Kruse is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in Optometry and Ophthalmology. With a strong background in management, Angela has made a seamless transition to Senior Home Care, where she is dedicated to providing top-quality care to seniors in need.
Angela enjoys spending time with her new grandson in her free time, further emphasizing her passion for caregiving and family. Angela’s commitment to excellence and compassionate nature make her a valuable asset in the field of Senior Care.
Vanessa Solano, Care Coordinator & Scheduling Manager
Vanessa is a dedicated Senior Home Care Coordinator and Scheduling Manager with over 15 years of experience in the industry and three years here at Golden Heart Senior Care.
Vanessa possesses a passion for helping others and managing busy schedules. Vanessa excels in providing top-notch care and support for seniors. Her organizational skills and attention to detail ensure that all of our clients receive the personalized care and assistance they require.
In addition to her professional work, Vanessa is a loving mother to three children, balancing the demands of her Career with the joys of parenthood. She is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those she cares for, both at home and in her professional role.
Kira Manary, Community Liason
Kira holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. Her 20-year career in healthcare began while she was still completing her degree, working alongside her mother at a home health agency. Starting as part-time on-call support, she assisted clients with urgent needs during evenings and weekends. After graduation, Kira transitioned to a full-time role as a staffing coordinator and steadily progressed through the organization’s ranks.
Her leadership skills flourished as she managed a team of staffers, and she eventually discovered her passion for marketing. In this role, Kira supported the agency's top producer by meeting with new patients, qualifying them for services, and establishing meaningful relationships within the community. Over time, she built her own network of connections, creating strong partnerships with referral sources and ensuring families received the care and resources they needed.
Beyond her professional work, Kira is deeply involved in charitable efforts. She volunteers with The Ryan House, a local organization supporting families with children facing severe or terminal health challenges. She serves as a table captain for their annual breakfast fundraiser and participates in their annual "Run for Ryan House" event. Additionally, Kira and her three sons organize a yearly giveaway for the homeless, collecting and distributing clothes and food to those in need in Phoenix.
In her personal life, Kira enjoys spending time outdoors and cherishing family moments with her husband and three boys. Friday nights are reserved for their beloved family game night, where laughter and connection take center stage.
I recommend Golden Heart to anyone who needs assistance with a living environment either for themselves or their loved ones. They took the time to do an in-depth interview with my wife and I along with my Dad who was in need of 24/7 care. He remained extremely lucid so he was able to express his desires during the interview, some of which were well outside what would normally be expected. Golden Heart was able to assign people very well suited to Dad’s needs, his personality, and his demeanor. They furnished the best of care, on short notice, through the end of my Dad’s life.
