In Memory of Laurie Malone
Rodney and Laurie Malone were married for 30 years. They were partners in life and partners in business. Together, they started Golden Heart Senior Care in Scottsdale, AZ and built it into the premier home care agency in the East Valley.
Sadly, Laurie was unexpecedly taken from us in May 2022. Laurie had a passion for connecting with people and was always charismatic, caring and devoted. Her passion for building a business that served the needs of others was undeniable. We all miss her.
Before Laurie and Rodney started their Golden Heart business, Laurie was an accomplished businesswoman. She excelled in the professional field both in the corporate setting as a quick rising executive and as an entrepreneur who developed, maintained, and grew four businesses. She held high level positions for companies with prestige such as Fifth Third Bank where she became the youngest and the first female marketing director. At GE Capital in 1997, she was recognized for closing a billion-dollar deal. In 2012, she closed the largest Autodesk deal at CAD Soft. These are just a few of her acknowledgments.
Together, she and Rodney bought, grew, invested in, and cultivated four amazing businesses from Ohio to Arizona: Jani-King, Malone Consulting Services, Arizona Final Clean, and Golden Heart Senior Care. Their Golden Heart business has been recognized for five years in a row as a Top 100 Woman owned business.
I recommend Golden Heart to anyone who needs assistance with a living environment either for themselves or their loved ones. They took the time to do an in-depth interview with my wife and I along with my Dad who was in need of 24/7 care. He remained extremely lucid so he was able to express his desires during the interview, some of which were well outside what would normally be expected. Golden Heart was able to assign people very well suited to Dad’s needs, his personality, and his demeanor. They furnished the best of care, on short notice, through the end of my Dad’s life.
